Tell You What, Why Don’t They Start With His House

Proof that some villages should keep their idiots at home:

Arkansas GOP head: We need more ‘attacks on American soil’ so people appreciate Bush

What a complete and utter tosser; and proof positive that Republicans just don’t give a shit so long as they stay in power.

Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, washed the t-shirt 23 times, threw the t-shirt in the ragbag, now I'm polishing furniture with it.

I called the Arkansas Republican Party about this just now and was bullshat (of course). Quote was “misrepresented” (the person I talked to did not say how) and then I was fed a line about Iraq.

Why am I not surprised? Did the words ‘out of context’ pop up in the conversation too?

It’s quite amusing to watch the slow implosion of the Republican base though.

Although Rove’s masterplan to stack all the local parties with biddable fundy idiots worked, every masterplan has a fatal flaw and his was to forget that though they’r biddable they are in fact idiots.. They can’t be trusted to open their mouths within 5 miles of a tape recorder, let alone to give actual press conferences. Criminal mastermind he may be, but Rove has his hands full just managing the subrosa war between the two psychos in the White House.

There’s no-one to direct the idiots and they’re going off half cocked all over the place. Wheee!

Meanwhile Putin is aiming his missiles at Europe and naval force is massing in the Gulf…

“Out of context” didn’t make an appearance appear…”misrepresented” did, to which I replied “but it’s a direct quote!” Then he tried to change the subject and talk about the Iraq war and WMDs.

I normally don’t get this annoyed but I was in DC on 9/11 so this struck a *leetle* close to home.

At least John Betjeman did it with style.”Come friendly bombs, and fall on Slough…”

“Come on then ragheads, bomb Arkansas, we’re down in the polls” doesn’t have the same aesthetic value somehow.
